What is Itsme Login?

itsme® is a mobile identity app operated by Belgian Mobile ID, a company founded by a group of major Belgian banks and telecom operators. It lets people log in, confirm their identity, and sign transactions from their smartphone, and it is used across government and private-sector services in Belgium and other European markets. Belgium notified itsme® under the EU eIDAS regulation, so it is recognised as an official electronic identity means.

An itsme® account is set up once and linked to the person's identity, typically using their Belgian eID card or through their bank. After that, the person proves who they are by confirming a request in the app with a five-digit itsme® code or their fingerprint, so there is no separate document scan or selfie at each check.

On verification, itsme® returns government-verified attributes shared on the person's consent, such as full name, date of birth, and national register number, with address available depending on the service. If you already hold some of the person's data, you can pass it in when the check launches.
